CADCOM – Community Action Development Commission – The lead Anti-Poverty Agency in Montgomery County works to coordinate strategic planning, economic development, community development, and to create a partnerships between public and private entities to serve the needs of county residents. CADCOM oversees 26 food pantries in Montgomery County, including the Daily Bread Community Food Pantry. CADCOM coordinates the acquisition of state and federal food for the county’s pantries.
Philabundance – One of the leading agencies working to eradicate hunger in Philadelphia and neighboring counties. As a premier member, The Daily Bread Community Food Pantry has access to the Philabundance food bank, which offers a source of food at some of the best prices available to local food pantries.
Community Connections Navicates – Montgomery County has four regional Navicate offices that can assist people in need with housing, senior supports, child care, employment, veteran affairs, child, family, and elder protection services, as well as many other resources. Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger – The Coalition connects people with food assistance programs and nutrition education; provides resources to a network of food pantries; and educates the public and policymakers about responsible solutions that prevent people from going hungry. The Coalition is a solid resource for studies and statistics on hunger in the area. It offers information on Pennsylvania’s annual State of Hunger Report.
